Work of Art Camp

Work of Art Camp

6657 West Ottawa Avenue - 6657 West Ottawa Avenue, STE A-20, Littleton, CO, USA

In this unique summer camp, campers are invited to explore their creativity while having fun and making something new each day that they can take home to enjoy! The camp runs June 3-6 and is open to students entering 3rd-6th grade in the fall of 2024. Campers are welcome to sign up for individual days ($65 each) or all four ($200). Included in the cost of camp are daily snacks and and all supplies needed to complete each project. Students should bring a sack lunch and water bottle to camp each day.

Campers will enjoy a full day (9am-3pm) of creation, games, and play. Each day of camp, we will work on a different skills-based art project ranging from painting to sculpture and more with lots of time allotted for creative experimentation, social connection, and play: including spending some time outside on the playground and playing games such as kickball, capture the flag, tag. We strongly encourage campers to wear and bring sunscreen for our outdoor activities.

First thing in the morning, we will start with a brief lesson and demonstration in the art room. We will focus on organization of materials and exploration of artistic tools and practices. And then, to get the creative juices flowing, we will enjoy a musical and collaborative brainstorming session, trying our hand at fine-tuning various techniques and learning from each other. Next, during our joyful, music-drenched studio time, we will progress through all stages of creativity to end the day with a completed project for each child to take something beautiful and inspired home.

Students can sign up for individual days of camp or the whole week!
